PROMULGATING LIST OF MAIN CROP SPECIES
Pursuant to Law on promulgation of legislative documents No. 64/2025/QH15 amended or supplemented by Law No. 87/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to Law on Crop Production No. 31/2018/QH14 amended by Law No. 146/2025/QH15;
Pursuant to Decree No. 35/2025/ND-CP dated February 25, 2025 of the Government on functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam;
At the request of the Director of the Crop Production and Plant Protection Department;
The Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment hereby promulgates a Circular promulgating the list of main crop species.
Article 1. List of main crop species
1. List of main crop species, including: Rice, corn.
2. The list of main crop species shall be reviewed and revised in accordance with management requirements in each period.
1. This Circular comes into force from February 24, 2026;
2. Circular No. 17/2019/TT-BNNPTNT dated November 15, 2019 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on promulgating the list of main crop species shall be invalid from the day on which this Circular comes into force.
Director of Crop Production and Plant Protection Department, Heads of units affiliated to the Ministry; Directors of Departments of Agriculture and Environment of provinces and central-affiliated cities and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Circular.
Difficulties that arise during the implementation of this Circular should be reported to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (via the Crop Production and Plant Protection Department) for consideration and resolution./.
